Hello, I'm Paula

Do you struggle with thoughts racing through your mind that you can't switch off?
Do you find yourself replaying conversations over and over and worry constantly about what might happen in the future?
Do you feel like you are drifting through life and aren't living it to the full?
Do you want to change things, but don't have the energy, or you're finding it hard to keep it together on the outside?
If you’re going through something difficult like this, you may find it hard to open up, even to those closest to you, leading to feelings of isolation and withdrawing more and more. I understand that reaching out for help can feel daunting, which is why building a warm, genuine therapeutic relationship is at the heart of my approach. I hold a Master’s degree in Person-Centred Therapy and offer a calm, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and emotions at your own pace.
Coming to see me can help you gain clarity and insight into the issues affecting you, and support you to understand what truly matters to you. As you begin to make sense of your situation, you may find you feel more grounded, self-aware, and empowered to make meaningful changes in your life.
Experience and Qualifications
My therapy journey began in special needs education and family support, which inspired me to retrain as a therapist. I hold an MA in Person-Centred Experiential Counselling and Psychotherapy and I am an experienced therapist who has supported many clients of all ages through significant life transitions and the emotions that might arise, including stress, anxiety, depression, grief, low self-esteem, and relationship difficulties. I offer play therapy for children and talk therapy for young people and adults. I also enjoy incorporating creative approaches for anyone open to them.
